Important Notice for Patients with BCBS or Cigna Insurance Who Received Large Bills from Dignity Health
Dear Healthful Healthcare Patients,
We are aware that some patients with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) or Cigna insurance may have recently received unexpectedly large bills from Dignity Health/St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. These bills are the result of an error in Dignity Health’s insurance contracts and may not reflect your true responsibility.
If you have received one of these bills, please email a copy to us at labbill@healthfulhealthcare.com, drop it off in-office, or mail it to us. Once we receive your bill, our team will review it and determine if it qualifies to be rebilled correctly through your insurance. Please note: this review and rebilling opportunity is available only for bills submitted to us on or before November 1, 2025.
We understand how stressful unexpected bills can be and want to ensure that your charges are handled accurately. Please do not make any payments on these bills until we have had the opportunity to review them.
